We had to throw the disc away, did not let sons watch it. Did not appreciate how the daughter spoke so disrespectful to mother then everything turns out okay.
Too many movies show parents as stupid and the disrespectful children saving the day. I knew it was a cheesy family romance movie, but I didn't expect it to be this weirdly choppy, like the lines didn't fit with each other, there was no chemistry at all, and while the total story plot was exactly what one would expect from family romance they didn't do a good job of telling how they got there.
Poor acting. Cheesy dialogue. Awkward camera angles. Definitely not a girls' weekend chick-flick. It is too horrid for that.
It's not entertaining and uncomfortably cringey. Both main male actors are ugly and the youngest was creepy. The female actors tend to act more like sisters than mother-daughter.
So petty. Character development? There was none. The horse was the most attractive and best acting character in the movie. He's so fast.. A decent movie but a bit corney.
If you are going to make a horse movie, please hire an actor that can ride. I would love to see more barrel racing movies come out, and would really love to see some where the main character rides good and doesnt make me cringe.

Wednesday, February 1, The New Adventure. Well, everyday is a new adventure, but we've been a lot of places and met a lot of people since we last posted.
Last year we traveled 25, in our Pilot and flew across the country 2 times. We're here to say that there a lot of wonderful people across our great land.
In November we got our own place in Colorado and then flew to Nashville to finally get our things out of storage and make the big move. While we were in Nashville, we celebrated Juliet's birthday and some Christmas cheer with our older son, Taylor.
We made it as far as Limon, before we had to stop and let the snow plows do their thing. The next morning we headed into Denver where our younger son, Brandon, had flown in the day before, just 2 hrs before Denver got hit with 16 inches of snow.
Once we were all safe and sound in Denver at Rodeo's sister and brother-in-law's house we enjoyed some great family time.
We were trying to beat the ski traffic that would be heading up on the busiest Friday of the year. For the most part, we beat the heaviest traffic and made it to Ridgway by 1pm on Dec 23rd traveling all the way on completely dry roads!
We were greeted by 6 strong men to help us unload the truck in record time: 1hr and 15 min. Thanks, guys!!
