Large room with a view that is breathtaking particularly in the morning of a sunny day when the mist vanishes slowly , comfortable beds, good breakfast maybe vegans would not be that pleased , extremely friendly staff, and situated in the city center - what else can you expect?

I traveled with a group. This hotel is not your usual set up. The reception section is on the 4th floor, there is no lobby for people to hang out, if you need to catch up with people, or wait for them to go out.
The staff was very rude. I asked for the washing service that they have listed. They don't have it. They only have 1 iron for the whole hotel, which is never available.
Breakfast buffet was very nice, food is good. US travelers, not your usual breakfast, there is a lot of meats, cheeses and breads.
This is located at a god area. There is a good amount of restaurants near by to walk to and near a train and bus station.
For some reason, there is a LOT of bell ringing all day every day in the area. Wifi was spotty. Each person had a different kind of room.
I was fortunate, ours was good size, most people said their room was a closet. There is no AC, and they do not provide fans. They do not provide any toiletries.

If you are traveling here in summer or with a family We stayed here just for one night after a small city visit and on our way back home.
Since reviews were good and the staff very helpful in accomodating our family 2 adults, 3 kids , I booked without hesitation. Boy was I wrong! Now, I understand that Germany is not big on air conditioning, but this was a major problem in this situation.
First, all family rooms are located at the front of the building. Little did I know that the main bus station for Fulda is right across the street from the building!
Now, because the hotel is not air conditioned Buses run until 11pm You can imagine that we did not get very much sleep.
As well, no fans are provided in the rooms. I understand that most German hotels are not air conditioned, but this is a city that hosts many conferences and knows that summers can be hot.
At the very least, fans should be provided in this type of situation. As well, the breakfast buffet left something to be desired.
The variety is there, but there was no chance to partake, as the buffet was poorly restocked. And we arrived with 2 hours still left in the buffet timing window.
